Next to the beach and a stroll from town, you can’t get any better than Allawah Port Douglas!

Our stay at Allawah Port Douglas (Oct 2022) was one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had. Allawah is luxurious and expansive so our group of four couples were able to socialise, entertain and still have their own space to retreat to for quiet and self time.
The design is perfect for the tropical environment and we loved being able to open up the huge bifold doors to maximise the indoor/outdoor experience.
It is a short walk (10-15mins) into the town centre via the beach or walking paths, which we did almost every day for fun, exercise or just for our coffee reward at the end. None of us had stayed at Port Douglas for some time and we loved the village atmosphere and found some very nice places to wine and dine when we wanted to go out.
But mostly we were very happy to stay and relax at Allawah, pick up some supplies to utilise the fantastic kitchen, bbq and just hang out!

We stayed at Allawah Port Douglas in July when it was freezing in Melbourne and absolutely perfect in FNQ. It's the most fantastic house for a relaxing and luxurious holiday.
It's so well appointed and our king bed was super comfortable. Couples can have their own space to rejuvenate or hang out together by the pool, around the BBQ, playing tennis (or watching the others play tennis whilst sipping on a G&T!) or hopping on a bike to grab some seafood for dinner in town.
Early morning walks along Four Mile Beach which is literally at the end of the golf course which you look onto. Happy hour at Mirage or the Tin Shed? Yes please. It was absolute heaven! We'll be back.
